February 1st is the official Hourly Comics Day! My day wasn't super interesting, but comics are always fun.

Check it out, another recipe comic. :) This time we're making crispy, sizzling coconut-flavored Vietnamese crepes known as banh xeo. Go ahead, try it yourself!

The last project in my Aesthetics class is to make an aesthetic profile of ourselves, usually chronicling our childhood and upbringing and its effect on how we developed as artists. It's pretty open-ended otherwise. Most people write a paper and the more ambitious (usually the graphic designers) make a book. Since I really enjoy reading autobio comics, I figured this would be a great opportunity to make one myself. :)

Hey hey, it's a recipe comic! My mom's lemon chiffon cake was a big part of my childhood and I thought I should share it with you guys. This is what I've been working on for most of the semester, just figuring out brush inking and page layout...it was fun! I'm planning to do more recipe comics next semester.
